NUK Genius Silicone Soother - The soother for healthy overall development.
When choosing a soother for their baby, many parents put their trust in the NUK Genius. It satisfies a baby’s innate need to suck and is both calming and comforting. When babies actively suck on their soother, this helps to give important exercise to the mouth and jaw muscles and promotes healthy oral development.
NUK Soothers: modelled on a mother’s nipple as she breastfeeds.
All babies come into the world with an innate need to suck. Breastfeeding satisfies this urge and gives baby everything they need, but for many babies, the need to suck goes beyond breastfeeding. Non-nutritive sucking can provide baby a sense of safety and security in between feeds. The familiar, instinctive feeling of sucking on a soother can quickly relax baby when feeling unsettled.
NUK Soothers are modelled on a mother’s nipple as she breastfeeds and are accepted by 95% of babies *. The asymmetrical shape gives the tongue enough space for natural sucking movements while the baglet is particularly thin and narrow to reduce the pressure on the teeth and jaws.

Technical specs – because quality matters
The anatomically shaped mouth shield features a low-profile ring. It’s made of high-quality polypropylene and is easy for even the tiniest of hands to grasp. The transparent silicone material is easy to clean and is particularly heat resistant. It is free from harmful substances, boil-proof, odourless, transparent and has a smooth surface.
NUK Soothers feature the NUK Air System which allows air to escape out of the baglet through an invisible vent in the shield. This means the soother stays soft, pliable and relieves the jaw when sucking.
